Mindfulness Day - September 12th

Did you know that we have an international day dedicated to Mindfulness?

Mindfulness Day is an opportunity to cultivate mindfulness in your life. Choose two of the tips below to practice and celebrate:

1. Understanding Mindfulness:

Intentionally observe your thoughts, feelings and surroundings without judgment!

2. Morning Meditation:

Make time to meditate. In the morning we have the freshest mind! Close your eyes, concentrate on your breathing and train your mind.

3. Conscious eating:

Eat without distractions, savor each bite, enjoy your senses. Put your cutlery down while you chew.

4. Reduce screens:

Reduce the use of electronic devices and avoid distractions. Live "real" life more.

5. Mindful Walking:  

Take a quiet walk. Feel every step and be present to all five senses.

6. Attention on tasks:

Practice mindfulness in daily activities, such as washing the dishes and brushing your teeth.

Reconnect with yourself several times throughout the day by breathing deeply.

7. Practice Gratitude:

At the end of Mindfulness Day, reflect on the moments when you were present and how this helped you to appreciate your life more.

Remember, Mindfulness is a gentle journey. Cultivate awareness and presence in everyday life.
